During my final year of college I spent six months traveling in the southern hemisphere as part of a student exchange program. After a month in Australia exploring Melbourne, Brisbane and the coast of Queensland, I flew to Auckland, New Zealand, to spend a semester at the Auckland University of Technology. I studied journalism and video editing during the weeks, and went out to explore the countyside with my fellow international students on weekends and school breaks.
